Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
When the work Espace Bleu (I) ; Soie-Oniro (Ii) 2 Works by Yolande Fièvre was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in May 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 500.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at EUR 2,772.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yolande Fièvre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Festival de L'assassin in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 92,500.00.
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Espace Bleu (I) ; Soie-Oniro (Ii) 2 Works von Yolande Fièvre im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 500,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 2.772,00 mehr als fünfmal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yolande Fièvre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Festival de L'assassin im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.500,00.
