Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yolanda Pong could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | Hong Kong auction, the work Little Red Copper Square changed hands for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,286.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yolanda Pong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gray Imagination, which sold at auction in May 2019 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,444.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yolanda Pong konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | Hong Kong wechselte die Arbeit Little Red Copper Square für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.286,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yolanda Pong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gray Imagination beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.444,97) versteigert wurde.
