Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradise Lost Iv by Yin Zhaoyang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 206,562.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yin Zhaoyang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Glory Mountain (Painted In 2015) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 919,076.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradise Lost Iv von Yin Zhaoyang wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 206.562,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Zhaoyang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Glory Mountain (Painted In 2015) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 919.076,09).
