The work Crying by Yin Jun was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,341.66), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yin Jun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crying No. 3 in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 35,508.84).

Die Arbeit Crying von Yin Jun wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.341,66) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Jun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crying No. 3 im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 35.508,84).
