Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Crying Series by Yin Jun was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93). Admittedly, works by Yin Jun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crying No. 3 in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 35,508.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Crying Series von Yin Jun wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Jun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crying No. 3 im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 35.508,84).
