Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Crying by Yin Jun was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. It achieved a price of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,410.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Other works by Yin Jun have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 50,000.00 (€ 35,508.84) in September 2008 for the work Crying No. 3.
