This artwork by Yigal Ozeri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work Untitled; Priscilla in ecstasy sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Yigal Ozeri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lizzie in Snow in February 2017 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 51,798.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yigal Ozeri erzielte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled; Priscilla in ecstasy für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yigal Ozeri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lizzie in Snow im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 51.798,83).
