Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yigal Ozeri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. In the Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art auction, the work Untitled; Jessica sold for EUR 22,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yigal Ozeri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lizzie in Snow, which sold at auction in February 2017 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 51,798.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yigal Ozeri erzielte im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled; Jessica für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yigal Ozeri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lizzie in Snow beobachtet, die im Februar 2017 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 51.798,83) versteigert wurde.
