Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seal Script Calligraphy by Yi Lixun was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,334.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yi Lixun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy von Yi Lixun wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.334,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yi Lixun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97) versteigert wurde.
