Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Yi Lixun. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,731.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yi Lixun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Yi Lixun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.731,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yi Lixun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97).
