Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy in Clerical Script by Yi Lixun. The price achieved of HKD 46,000.00 (€ 4,365.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yi Lixun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script von Yi Lixun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 46.000,00 (€ 4.365,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yi Lixun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97) versteigert wurde.
