Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholar under Tree by Yi Da'An was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,158.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 18,000.00 – 28,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Da'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 650,000.00 (€ 75,937.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scholar under Tree von Yi Da'An wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.158,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 18.000,00 – 28.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Da'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 650.000,00 (€ 75.937,33).
