This artwork by Yi Da'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. In the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Poppies sold for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,063.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Da'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 650,000.00 (€ 75,937.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yi Da'An erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Poppies für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.063,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Da'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 650.000,00 (€ 75.937,33).
