It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,561.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Admittedly, works by Yi Da'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 650,000.00 (€ 75,937.33).

Die Arbeit Scholar Appreciating The Scenery von Yi Da'An kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.561,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yi Da'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 650.000,00 (€ 75.937,33).
