In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Lotus; Calligraphy by Yi Da'An. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,254.22), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Da'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 650,000.00 (€ 75,937.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus; Calligraphy von Yi Da'An zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.254,22) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yi Da'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 650.000,00 (€ 75.937,33).
