Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Chrysanthemum by Yi Da'An. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 28,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,409.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yi Da'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 650,000.00 (€ 75,937.33).
