Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Roses by Yen Shui-Long was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yen Shui-Long - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Island and Seascape, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Roses von Yen Shui-Long wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yen Shui-Long mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Island and Seascape beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60) versteigert wurde.
