Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Pearl River by Yee Bon. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,224.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yee Bon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 5,180,000.00 (€ 511,801.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pearl River von Yee Bon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.224,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yee Bon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.180.000,00 (€ 511.801,17).
