Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Lumberjack At Work by Yee Bon. The price achieved of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 41,559.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 320,000.00 – 420,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yee Bon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 5,180,000.00 (€ 511,801.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lumberjack At Work von Yee Bon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 41.559,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 320.000,00 – 420.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yee Bon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.180.000,00 (€ 511.801,17).
