This artwork by Yee Bon achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Jingbo Lake Logs Reserve sold for HKD 767,000.00 (€ 84,417.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 420,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yee Bon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 5,180,000.00 (€ 511,801.17).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yee Bon erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Jingbo Lake Logs Reserve für HKD 767.000,00 (€ 84.417,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 420.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yee Bon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.180.000,00 (€ 511.801,17).
