Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Naoshima Red Pumpkin, 2019 by Yayoi Kusama was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 891.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yayoi Kusama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkin in April this year with an auction result of HKD 30,000,000.00 (€ 30,635,869.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Naoshima Red Pumpkin, 2019 von Yayoi Kusama kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 765,00 (€ 891,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yayoi Kusama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkin im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.000.000,00 (€ 30.635.869,57).
