Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Two court attendents watch the year's first sunrise by their carriage by Yashima Gakutei for USD 4,800.00 (€ 4,327.05). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese and Korean Art Including the Collection of David and Nayda Utterberg at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yashima Gakutei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giant black carp in waterweeds in September last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 83,716.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two court attendents watch the year's first sunrise by their carriage von Yashima Gakutei für USD 4.800,00 (€ 4.327,05) erwerben.
