In September last year Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Toso sake by Yashima Gakutei. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,292.00 (€ 5,409.38), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yashima Gakutei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giant black carp in waterweeds in September last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 83,716.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Toso sake von Yashima Gakutei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.292,00 (€ 5.409,38) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yashima Gakutei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giant black carp in waterweeds im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 83.716,65).
