This work without title by Yiannis Gaitis was sold in the CoBrA auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. It achieved a price of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 5,634.42), exceeding the pre-set estimate by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yiannis Gaitis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Tourists At Cape Sounion in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 118,321.86).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yiannis Gaitis wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 5.634,42) und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yiannis Gaitis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Tourists At Cape Sounion im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 118.321,86).
