This artwork by Yang Mao-Lin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Tie Bodhisattva of Great Buddhist Paradise sold for HKD 252,000.00 (€ 26,242.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 105,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Mao-Lin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 524,000.00 (€ 54,437.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Mao-Lin erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Tie Bodhisattva of Great Buddhist Paradise für HKD 252.000,00 (€ 26.242,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 105.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Mao-Lin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Behaviour of Game - Fighting Chapter beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 524.000,00 (€ 54.437,71) versteigert wurde.
