Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Over The Waves And Trails - Trustworthy #87 - #104 by Haegue Yang. The price achieved of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 66,986.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Other works by Haegue Yang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2020 the work Central Composition in Explosion – Trustworthy ‘For Sophie Taeuber’ #184 was auctioned for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 89,020.30).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Over The Waves And Trails - Trustworthy #87 - #104 von Haegue Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 66.986,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Haegue Yang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2020 die Arbeit Central Composition in Explosion – Trustworthy ‘For Sophie Taeuber’ #184 für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 89.020,30) versteigert.
