Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Evolution by Chihung Yang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 13,558.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Chihung Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tinder in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 135,172.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Evolution von Chihung Yang kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 13.558,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chihung Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tinder im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 135.172,08).
