In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Ambush (Painted In 2011) by Chihung Yang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 816,000.00 (€ 90,768.70), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chihung Yang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 135,172.08) in April 2019 for the work Tinder.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ambush (Painted In 2011) von Chihung Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 816.000,00 (€ 90.768,70) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chihung Yang haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 135.172,08) im April 2019 für die Arbeit Tinder beobachtet.
