Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cursive Calligraphy of Autumn by Chihung Yang was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 228,000.00 (€ 27,572.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chihung Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tinder in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 135,172.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cursive Calligraphy of Autumn von Chihung Yang kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 27.572,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chihung Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tinder im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 135.172,08).
