The work AMERICAN DOLLAR by Yan Pei-Ming was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,148.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Pei-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pape in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,026,850.00 (€ 1,297,972.83).

Die Arbeit AMERICAN DOLLAR von Yan Pei-Ming wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.148,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Pei-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pape im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.026.850,00 (€ 1.297.972,83).
