Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Wedding Ceremony by Li Yan. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 18,222.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Li Yan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work Long and Winding Road 1989.6.5 was auctioned for HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,410.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wedding Ceremony von Li Yan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 18.222,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Li Yan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit Long and Winding Road 1989.6.5 für HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.410,97) versteigert.
