Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus by Yan Jiabao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 11,250.00 (€ 1,211.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yan Jiabao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers and Birds/Landscape, which sold at auction in May 2019 for HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,432.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Yan Jiabao kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 11.250,00 (€ 1.211,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yan Jiabao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers and Birds/Landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.432,06) versteigert wurde.
