This artwork by Yan Bolong achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Floewrs And Birds sold for HKD 72,000.00 (€ 9,226.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yan Bolong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twelve Zodiac Signs in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 688,125.00 (€ 78,651.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yan Bolong erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Floewrs And Birds für HKD 72.000,00 (€ 9.226,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Bolong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twelve Zodiac Signs im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 688.125,00 (€ 78.651,67).
