Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dragonfly by Begonia by Yan Bolong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,789.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Bolong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twelve Zodiac Signs in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 688,125.00 (€ 78,651.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dragonfly by Begonia von Yan Bolong kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.789,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Bolong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twelve Zodiac Signs im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 688.125,00 (€ 78.651,67).
