Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ôban by Yamamoto Shoun was sold in the Indische, Südostasiatische und Japanische Kunst auction at Lempertz in Cologne in December 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 434.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yamamoto Shoun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twenty-four woodblock prints depicting women in May 2021 with an auction result of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,995.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ôban von Yamamoto Shoun wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Indische, Südostasiatische und Japanische Kunst bei Lempertz in Köln versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 434,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yamamoto Shoun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twenty-four woodblock prints depicting women im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.995,29).
