Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yaacov Agam achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November this year. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Andromedar II - 1985 sold for EUR 7,216.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yaacov Agam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 698,500.00 (€ 526,414.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yaacov Agam erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Andromedar II - 1985 für EUR 7.216,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yaacov Agam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 698.500,00 (€ 526.414,95).
