Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Under Heaven -2802 CF3312 by Xu Zhen was sold in the First Open | Hong Kong auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,267.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Zhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312 in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Under Heaven -2802 CF3312 von Xu Zhen wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion First Open | Hong Kong bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.267,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Zhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08).
