Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Under Heaven - 2801Ac0143 by Xu Zhen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,784.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 260,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Zhen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312 in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Under Heaven - 2801Ac0143 von Xu Zhen kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.784,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Zhen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08).
