Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Under Heaven - 2232Mt3151 by Xu Zhen. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,136.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Other works by Xu Zhen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Under Heaven-2207FI1312 was auctioned for CNY 810,000.00 (€ 93,439.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Under Heaven - 2232Mt3151 von Xu Zhen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.136,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Xu Zhen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit Under Heaven-2207FI1312 für CNY 810.000,00 (€ 93.439,08) versteigert.
