Upper estimate price exceeded by 56 %.
In May this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II, which included the work Calligraphy by Xing Yun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 31,200.00 (€ 3,739.67), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xing Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 31.200,00 (€ 3.739,67) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
