A top price for Xing Yun
The work Calligraphy by Xing Yun was worth HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83) to a buyer in April this year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Calligraphy the most expensive artwork by Xing Yun that we have observed at auctions so far.
