Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy in Standard Script, 1966 by Xing Yun for USD 480.00 (€ 439.56). This price was achieved in the auction Decorative Asian Works of Art Online at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy in Standard Script, 1966 von Xing Yun für USD 480,00 (€ 439,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Decorative Asian Works of Art Online bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
