Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV, which included the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Xing Yun. The price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 2,765.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 24,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors IV durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Xing Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 2.765,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 24.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
