Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Xing Yun was sold in the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II auction at POLY in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 15,600.00 (€ 1,869.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xing Yun wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.600,00 (€ 1.869,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
