Upper estimate price exceeded by 80 %.
This artwork by Xing Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 54,000.00 (€ 55,144.57) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xing Yun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xing Yun erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 54.000,00 (€ 55.144,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83) versteigert wurde.
