Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xing Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphic Couplets sold for HKD 72,000.00 (€ 73,526.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xing Yun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xing Yun erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets für HKD 72.000,00 (€ 73.526,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Xing Yun; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
