Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Xiao Xian was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,153.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Xian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,882.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xiao Xian kam im Mai 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.153,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Xian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 73.882,53).
