Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eight-Character Couplet in Clerical Script by Xiao Tui was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 66,700.00 (€ 6,203.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Xiao Tui have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2017 the work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56).

Die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet in Clerical Script von Xiao Tui wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 66.700,00 (€ 6.203,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
