The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script is the most expensive artwork by Xiao Tui that we have observed at auctions so far.
