A top price for Xiao Fangkai - as previously expected
In April 2015 Christies in Shanghai held the auction Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art, which included the work Scenery o Gardens Series: 1301 by Xiao Fangkai. The price achieved of CNY 275,000.00 (€ 39,715.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 220,000.00 – 320,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Scenery o Gardens Series: 1301 is the most expensive artwork by Xiao Fangkai that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scenery o Gardens Series: 1301 von Xiao Fangkai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 275.000,00 (€ 39.715,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 220.000,00 – 320.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Scenery o Gardens Series: 1301 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xiao Fangkai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
